South Africa Revenue Services (SARS) introduced a 24 hours Advanced Load Manifest rule in August this year, which means submitting B/L and manifest is now needed latest 24 hours before loading on vessel at the port. This is to guarantee the fine service you are used to.
An administration fee called RCG (Reporting of Conveyances and Goods) will now be implemented and the cost will be EUR 12,50 per B/L. This applies for all South Africa destinations starting from 1 November 2018.
